Activities

The UC Merced SCICON Field Station highlights the diverse scientific and educational engagements supported at this field station in the southern Sierra Nevada and San Joaquin Valley. It encompasses a range of opportunities including research projects that advance ecological understanding, education and outreach programs that connect students and community members with hands-on field experiences, management and monitoring efforts that sustain natural systems, and conferences and meetings hosted in a scenic, conservation-focused setting. These activities support the station’s mission to foster scientific inquiry, training, and stewardship of natural environments in collaboration with university researchers, educators, and partner organizations.
